I got Bella’s first dog stroller off Amazon. I didn’t think it was going to be such a lime green color! She liked the stroller from the moment I put her in it. I took it camping with us many times. The only problem I had was the front wheel wouldn’t turn freely. I had to lift the front wheel and pivot on the back wheels to turn it.
I met RV Sue and Her Canine Crew (an RV blogger) in Anza Borrego, CA while boondocking. I showed her my dog stroller and we put Bridget and Spike in there with Bella for a photo opportunity. Bella wasn’t too sure about sharing it with other dogs and her dogs didn’t really seem to like being in there, but they were cute.
I decided to look for another stroller, one that wasn’t so bright and had wheels that turned good. I found this stroller at PetSmart. It was normally $100, but someone had returned this one because it had a cracked wheel. I tested it in the store and it wheeled really good. The crack was cosmetic only and they had it marked down to $50 so I bought it.
On my trip up Hwy 395 from CA to Oregon and Washington last year with Bella, we used the stroller many places besides campgrounds. She was allowed in museums, gift shops, visitor centers, etc in the stroller. I didn’t get Chica until after I got back from that trip.
