The next room I walk in has a sign for the sink hole viewing. You look through a glass wall at the Sky Dome area where the sink happened. You can barely see on the right side the area where there is a hole in the ground. I guess they are keeping that area pretty private from our eyes still. The following room is the shocker. They have all eight cars on display that were swallowed up by the sinkhole. I stayed in this room the longest. Three of the cars that were on top of the rumble were easiest to remove and received the less damage. The first car out was a 2009 ZR1 “Blue Devil” that was sitting on top of the rubble and was even able to drive away from the hole once they brought it up! The last five cars were buried deep under the collapsed floor and earth.
The sink hole was 40 ft wide and about 25 to 30 feet deep.
